This special event will take place the day before the start of Oregon Rails 2026 - PNR Convention.

The objective of the Modeling With The Masters Program (MWTM) is to teach modelers of all skill levels new techniques and opportunities in model railroading. To achieve that objective, the Program will offer modeling challenges to individuals that will increase or enhance their modeling skills, introduce them to new modeling
materials and techniques, and introduce them to various tools used in the modeling process.
We will teach how to build a Snow Shed similar to one that might be installed adjacent to a tunnel or area of potential snow or landslide. It follows that there will be a number of basic and advanced skills and techniques that will be addressed including: scratch building; cut and fit to specific specifications from blueprints; gluing; and using Pan Pastels for painting and weathering.
The fee for Modeling With The Masters is $55.
